Management of national youth organization to explore nature (JNM) with 350 members (age 12-25). I worked together with 4 other board members to make sure finances, 40 camps and excursions and the future of JNM could be secured.
Active role in national youth organization to explore nature (JNM). I participated in groups to lead excursions, manage summer camps and meetings, design and write promotion materials, take photo's, cook meals.
Right in front of the spectators in the movie theatre, I presented a brief story before each screening about a topic related to the movie. Such as storyline, color, an outstanding actor or actress, producer etc.
I coordinated lectures and provided information to visitors.
My job was to inform visitors about the program, location, time, special activities as I was the first person to go to when having questions.
As a mentor I took care of students who learned Dutch at my school and lived in the local refugee centre (AZC)
I assisted the founder in forming a team, we interviewed and hired 10 more people. I also contributed to the conceptualization of a new student film festival called 'Breaking ground'. In those days we had to build everything form the ground up, so I helped painting, get computers work, manage and motivate the team of volunteers when our ideas were still in the cloud and we were working to materialize the festival.
Locative media art makes artistic use of location-aware and time-aware media to promote social encounters between users and locations. The social contact is usually experienced via a PC. "This year at PICNIC, Waag Society, 7scenes and Layar organised a one-day Augmented City Lab, hosted and moderated by Ronald Lenz.
Ronald Lenz - Waag Society & 7scenes
‘Augmented city’ stands for city space enriched with information. The aim of the meeting was to focus on near-future scenarios for mobile location-aware services in city space. In a public session called THINK, local and international experts discussed the opportunities current practices have for the Augmented City. This session was followed by MAKE, creative prototyping sessions, where teams of experts from diverse disciplines together created inspiring services. During the day speakers and public got into discussion about ‘the virtual’ versus ‘the real’ in city space and in addition introduced some inspiring new concepts."

I feel alive when…
is a social art project in public space. Tell us when, where and how you feel most alive.
This project is launched in the multicultural community of Gamboa and Santa Cruz (Panama) close to 21 December 2012, when the Mayan calendar ends and some people believe the world will end. Most communication about this day is focused on fear and death. I feel alive when… focuses on change and life. See the communities contributions on the project site under Events.
This is an ongoing project. People can continue writing their contributions on the project site.
