In a 10th century Japanese folktale called the Tale of the Bamboo Cutter, a mysterious babygirl was discovered by a bamboo cutter inside the stalk of a glowing bamboo plant. This man found something extraordinary while doing his daily work. As a marketing & communications professional I try to find creative solutions in things that at first glance seem to be common, but have a lot of unexpected hidden potential.

I'm also a generalist who loves networking. For me, networking opens up a pool of creativity across various industries and countries.

Currently I'm working in the plastics industry where we market pipe systems for management of drinking water, waste water and rainwater. I gained a lot of experience in the food and beverage industry while working for a food ingredients company in the Netherlands. My Japanese studies and consecutive stay in Japan allowed me to view people and companies from a different perspective.
