Ernst-Jan Pfauth (23) is a blogger and journalist, who previously worked in New York to cover news at the United Nations. He's currently blogging at Dutch quality newspaper nrc.next and co-organized an international bloggers conference in Amsterdam on October 24, 2008. Before writing for nrc.next, he was the editor in chief of The Next Web, an international Web 2.0 blog.

Together with Boris Veldhuijzen van Zanten, I founded The Next Web Blog. It's a publication that reports on everything that influences the future of the Web, in any way. Within a year, we had 8.000 daily RSS subscribers, 300,000 monthly visitors who view 500,000 pages and an average of 8 new articles a day

Together with Edial Dekker and Meganova, I've organized a conference for bloggers in Amsterdam on October 24, 2008. BLOG08 was about bringing people together who share an interest in blogging. Our theme was Rockstars of the Web.
Keynote speakers included Mashable's Pete Cashmore and Gapingvoid's Hugh MacLeod.
