Ik ben onderzoeker. De passie waarvanuit ik Hofmuze heb
opgezet is die van het onderzoeken van de wereld met behulp
van kunst.

Ik doe onderzoek als dichter. Ik heb geen last van clichés in
denken en doen. Pom Wolf schreef laatst: "Het moet toch
allemaal eerst door Moes onderzocht. Nou dan kun je ook wel
dingen zeggen die nog niet zijn vastgelegd in natuurwetten."

  Als huisdichter stel ik vragen en onderzoek ik antwoorden. Ik schrijf gedichten, liedjes en jongleerroutines. Soms puur om de identiteit weer te geven (visitekaartjes, website, architectuur, beleidsdag), soms om de bijzonderheid voelbaar te maken van speciale gebeurtenissen (lustrum, fusie, congres, bruiloft).

  Muziek met licht filosofische liedteksten afgewisseld met gedichten. Man en Moes maakt eigen muziek die wat vervreemdend aandoet. Op gitaar en piano Jan Koornstra, op zang Moes Wagenaar en als vaste gastbegeleider Ties Brands op accordeon.

  Master of Science , Civil Engineering, a Master Philosophy of Science, Technlology and Society and a Minor of Jazz Music , 1999 — 2008

  For my masterthesis I developed a new method for philosophical research. Analog to simulation in science I worked out what simulation can bring to philosophy.
  
  
  "This thesis contributes to the philosophy of science in the
  following way: it describes the position of simulation in
  science using the work of Sloot. Besides, it poses simulation
  as a research area in metaphilosophical research,
  complementing the areas of empiry and theory identified by
  Mol. In order to be able to describe the status of the
  knowledge obtained using simulation, I used and refined parts
  of the conceptual framework of Peirce’s semiotics. Through
  an analysis of the art form of improvisation theatre I was able
  to show that improvisation theatre is a suitable platform for
  simulation in philosophy. This resulted in the new research
  method Flits, designed to do philosophical research in the
  research area of simulation." - from of the Summary of
