Who am I and why am I on Linkedin? Or, what’s much more important: why are you here? What triggered you to read my profile?

● Who am I?
The elevator pitch: I live in the Netherlands, I am 39 years old, married and have three children. I have been in international business for 15+ years and have lived abroad for a total of 11 years. I have traveled extensively to about 40 countries and I speak several languages fluently.

● What drives me?
I have a couple of great passions in life. First and foremost is my family, closely followed by traveling. To me traveling is about the trip! I know it’s cliché, but hey, isn’t the destination just a part of the journey? Other absolute passions of mine are to share knowledge and to inspire people to fulfill their dreams.

During my career in international business I have tried and failed many, many times. And… I have tried and succeeded perhaps equally as many times. I learnt many valuable lessons along the way on how to do things and… how NOT to do thing! And the single most important thing that I learned is to always, always follow my heart!

● So what do I do?
In an effort to combine my experiences with my passions, I have set up Beekery Executive Sales Coaching. Beekery offers an intensive 50-day Authentic Commercial Leadership program specifically designed to help SOHOs and SMEs establish themselves as thought leaders within their niche industry. The first trial program has just finished (see recommendations below). The next program will start in March 2010.

With 1 million+ Linkedin subscribers in the Netherlands alone, it has proven itself as a valuable business development tool. This is why I am also offering Linkedin trainings to professionals to support them in establishing themselves as thought leaders within their industry.
