I recently started my own company to make it easier for clients to hire me as a freelance graphic designer. I like to design things in a new way and make a more out of the box design that stands out and gives you a different perspective on the subject.
Working with my hands is something that comes along easily. Drawing, silkscreen printing, etching, analogue photography. As long as it gives me dirty hands I like it.

Preferences, atmosphere, personality and identity, that is: who is the client, what does the client want and how do users experience a website? Important questions that we, the graphic designers, answer together with the client. The visual design of concepts and information on the Internet: that is our area of expertise.
A good website is functional: the user must be able to use it intuitively. We check with our interaction designers whether the layout and user interface are linked seamlessly together to guarantee user satisfaction.
We will continue to be involved in our designs after delivery through microsites, banners and other graphics maintenance.

I am now taking care of all the equipment that students can borrow from the school. I have to make sure administrative things run smooth (sort mail, prepare lists for the grades, archive them, etc.). I help the head of our department (Art & Communication Design) when needed.

Me and some of my fellow Industrial Design students started a small flyer/zine. It was ment to be just for our course and thus only contained information relevant to it's students.
Every two weeks we had a new copy. I always did the biggest part of the compiling and wrote some small articles as well. We also had comics, a small agendam, birthdays of fellow students, editorial pieces and some pieces written by students.

I am the co-founder of a small two weeks zine that I and 4 other students published. Just a simple black and white A4 zine. Printed on the front and the back and it contained birthdays, a small calender of upcomming events, a comic and all other information that we thought people who study Industrial Design should know.
