Jos Erdkamp’s Interests:

Privately I'm interested in the history of photography, especially the early years of amateur photography (around 1890-1910). During the past 25 years I have written many articles on early Kodak cameras. Also I have identified the cameras used by the Romanovs (last czar of Russia) and done research on the photography of Robert Peary during his expeditions to the North Pole from 1891 to 1909. Of both articles were published. Next to this I have written a number of historical novels that were published in the Netherlands.
